2019 Miss Madera, Wee Miss and Tommyhawk

Applications for the 2019 Chowchilla-Madera County Fair Pageant are now being accepted for Miss Madera County, Little Miss Madera County, Wee Miss Madera County and Tommyhawk. Those desiring to participate must be a resident of Madera County. Winners of the pageant events will represent Madera County at the Chowchilla-Madera County Fair and other community events in 2019.

Completed applications must be received in the Fair Office by 5:00 p.m. Friday, April 1, 2019

There will be openings for eight contestants for each of the pageant categories. Openings will be filled on a first received first filled basis.

Pageant applicants must meet age, residency and eligibility requirements. Miss Madera County contestants must be females between 16-20 years of age, Little Miss Madera County contestants must be females between 8-10 years of age, Wee Miss Madera County contestants must be females between 5-7 years of age. and Tommyhawk Contest is for males between 5-10 years of age. The ages for all contestants are determined as their age as of May 16, 2019.

The pageant contestants will be evaluated on personal characteristics such as scholastic achievement, community involvement, poise, behavior, personality and other items specific to each category.

The 2019 pageant will be held on Thursday, May 16th. The winners of each of the four pageant events will be obligated to participate in the Chowchilla Spring Festival parade on Saturday, May 18. In addition, they will be required to be present daily at the Chowchilla-Madera County Fair, May 16-19, 2019 and appear at other community events throughout the year.
